As your Pinewood Derby chair this year, I’d like to welcome all young racers to the kickoff of the Pinewood Derby season, otherwise known as the
greatest race on earth!
We have a lot of potential racers this year, all vying for that elusive spot in the winner’s circle! Or maybe you just want to make a cool car and see it go. Either way, with a record number of boys it will make for a very exciting evening!

If you have not yet done so, please sign your scout up for a single 1 hour shift at our Scouting for Food event this Saturday. This is an extremely important event as we give back to the community.
As a reminder, it's this Saturday (11/18) at SPD market in Nevada City. We'll be setup in the front of the store.

We have 1 enrolled kindergartner that is super excited to be a Lion! Please spread the word so we can create a Lion den. Parents, the year is a great opportunity for your scout to learn the ropes and get a feel for how our organization works. There is only 1 meeting a month and pack meetings are optional!

Hello Pack 23 Families!
We are making our Popcorn Sales a BIG EVENT this year and trying to earn as much as we can through this sale in order to bring the cost of our overnight to the California Academy of Science (Woot-woot!) as well as doing other awesome, fun stuff that keeps our Pack going.
We have our usual stand in front of B&C and sell popcorn to our community that you need to sign up for a shift from our sign ups below. This year, we are doing 2 hour shifts and the money sold at each shift will be divided up by the cub scouts to count towards their PRIZES!!! Starts NEXT weekend, then we have the Campout, and then one more weekend of Popcorn sales. So please sign up, show up, and SELL, SELL, SELL.

Additionally, we have the take home order forms that will be passed out at our Pack Meeting next week, Wednesday the 20th. These are to take to work, or collect from friends and family that live locally.
And Lastly, we have our third option, the online option. This option is great because you do not have to collect money, or deliver popcorn. PLUS, you get addition opportunity for prizes such as the Amazon gift card. IMPORTANT: When signing up online, you will create a user name and password and the next screen will ask 3 questions to make sure the proceeds go to our pack. PLEASE make sure you select the right ones to ensure we get the money, otherwise it won't count towards our Pack or your cub scouts prizes for the popcorn sales.
